EXECUTIVE DECISION Views = 0     Interest = 0 No interest = No point. Reluctant to make the decision but I am winding up this blog. Either there is not a lot of interest in the breeding of un-exposed juveniles or the way I present it isn't needed. No point in flogging the horse once it has expired.                                     NOTEBOOK Right, I'm trying something different and I think it will be better if I start a new post/section to site it. Rather than reviewing a 2-y-o race underneath the preview, I will be noting, in here, what I feel are interesting runs.  I will be updating on a regular basis but not necessarily every day. Friday     July 15 Newbury 1.00 Classic (DUBAWI) a nice debut by this colt, slowly away but made smooth headway to get into contention and ran on well for 4th. place. A lot more to come I think. Newbury 1.00 Lenormand (DUBAWI) given an unusually negative ride for a horse from this yard (C.Appleby), held up out the back early, didn't get a clear run when trying to move forward, switched to the stand side and ran on for 6th. I would expect a bolder showing next time. Sandown 1.50 Arrest (FRANKEL) - a half-brother to Dinozzo (LILBOURNE LAD) RPR 112, the winner of five handicaps in Hong Kong over 8 & 9f. Sandown 1.50 Nostrum (KINGMAN) - a half-brother to Imaging (OASIS DREAM) RPR 111,  who ran second in a 7f. Group 1 in Australia. Leopardstown 5.30 She's Local (FSS TASLEET) - a half-sister to Maqaasid (GREEN DESERT) RPR 111,  who finished third in the 2011 1,000 Guineas. She's Local finished a well-beaten fifth on her debut over 5f. at Naas earlier this month. Leopardstown 5.30 Nyota (ELZAAM) - a full-sister to Playa Del Puente RPR 112, the winner of an 8f. Listed at Dundalk before going to race in Hong Kong where he finished second in the Hong Kong Derby over 10f. Sandown 1.50 Eddie's Boy (FSS HAVANA GREY) - a half-brother to Masuru (LETHAL FORCE) (RPR 100) the winner of an 8f. handicap. Eddie's Boy put up his best performance (third run) when finishing third to Little Big Bear in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Sandown 2.55 Buy The Dip (NEW BAY) -  a half-brother to Enlace (RPR 101) (SHAMARDAL) the winner of four 7f. handicaps.  Stormbuster (DUBAWI) - a full-brother to Arabian Queen (RPR 116) the winner of the 2015 10f. Group 1 Juddmonte International at York. Stormbuster made a promising debut when third at Newbury over 6.5f. at Newbury.
